Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for Sort Line Operatives to join a busy waste and recycling facility in Merthyr Tydfil.
This is a hands-on role working within a recycling environment, sorting waste and recyclable materials while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort waste and recyclable materials
- Remove unsuitable materials from the waste stream
- Follow all site Health & Safety procedures and induction requirements
- Wear the correct PPE at all times
- Keep the working area clean, tidy and safe
- Work efficiently as part of the site team
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a waste and recycling environment
- Able to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm
- Good awareness of Health & Safety
- No licences required
Overtime
Saturday overtime is available, with a 6:00am or 7:00am start for an 8-hour shift, paid at £15.89 per hour.
