Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Embroidery Machine Operator This role involves operating specialised embroidery machinery to produce high-quality clothing designs on various textiles. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, previous experience in sewiing would be beneficial but not essential.
Duties
- Set up and operate embroidery machines according to design specifications and production schedules
- Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent quality and troubleshoot any technical issues promptly
- Load and unload textiles, ensuring correct placement for accurate embroidery results
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of embroidery equipment to maintain optimal performance
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary
- Maintain organised workstations and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in sewing would be beneficial
- Basic understanding of textile handling and machine operation
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour accuracy and design precision
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently under supervision
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle textiles safely
- Willingness to learn new skills related to embroidery machinery and processes
Pay: £10.85-£12.75 per hour
