Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Loading and Unloading Associate to join our team during the night shift. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient handling, movement, and storage of goods within our warehouse environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining smooth operations by safely managing materials, operating equipment, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload goods from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization within the warehouse.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying shipments against documentation.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support inventory management by organizing stock and updating records as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Follow all safety procedures related to mechanical handling, construction site safety standards, and warehouse regulations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate documentation for shipments, receipts, and inventory updates.
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in materials handling and logistics operations.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is advantageous for understanding equipment functions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts while maintaining safety standards.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to work night shifts reliably with flexibility for overtime if required.
Shift: Tuesday to Saturday : 00:00-09:00
