Motorhome & Camper Handover specialist

The Role
This is a varied, customer-facing and technically focused position. You’ll work closely with the sales team, workshop and our customers to ensure you have a thorough and competent understanding of the Campers and Motorhome features we retail.
This will involve ensuring vehicles are prepared correctly, inspected thoroughly, and presented to a high standard. The core part of the role is to lead the full customer handover process, demonstrating all vehicle features, systems, and operation so customers feel confident and well-informed when collecting their vehicle.
You will also support warranty processing, technical queries, and general after-sales coordination. We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, technically confident, enjoys demonstrating face to face and is motivated to get to the bottom of things.
Key Responsibilities listed in priority order:
1. Pre-inspection & Vehicle Handover – Top Priority
- Carry out pre-handover inspections
- Ensure each vehicle is complete, functioning, and meets internal standards prior to handover
- Lead the full customer handover process, demonstrating all vehicle features, systems, and operation
- Support the preparation process of sold units
- Conduct pre-appointment calls and post-appointment feedback surveys
Warranty & Technical Aftersales
- Administrate and submit warranty claims with each manufacturer
- Track claim progress and update the workshop
- Ensure correct components are ordered and monitor ETA
- Check in and book warranty parts onto the DMS
- Store components correctly and maintain warranty stock levels
- Liaise with technicians to collate time and job data
- Update job cards as parts arrive
- Close claims on manufacturer systems
- Match hours claimed vs. hours approved
- Prepare final invoices for customers
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an automotive, engineering, or workshop environment
- Strong technical mindset and confident with mechanical/electrical systems
- Logical problem-solver with attention to detail
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Competent using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Works well in a close-knit team
