About the Role
We are looking for a confident, outgoing and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our furniture and carpets business on a part-time basis.
You will work Roughly 12 hours per week over 2 or 3 days, coming into our showroom to create engaging video content for our social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
You will be the face of our social media content, appearing on camera and confidently talking about our products, promotions and showroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook.
- Appear on camera and confidently talk about our products.
- Showcase and explain our carpets, sofas, dining furniture, bedroom furniture and other products.
- Create product videos, showroom tours, promotional content and special offers.
- Come up with creative ideas for new content.
- Keep up with current social media trends, sounds and video styles.
- Work with the team to plan and create regular content.
- Help increase our social media following, engagement and customer enquiries.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident and comfortable speaking on camera
- Outgoing, friendly and approachable
- Creative and full of ideas
- Naturally engaging and able to hold an audience's attention
- Comfortable presenting products
- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Previous experience in social media or content creation is preferred, but personality, confidence and creativity are more important than qualifications
