EHS Lead
Portable Foods Manufacturing Company Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kellanova (previously Kellogg Company), producing cereal bars and fruit snacks. Based in Wrexham, North Wales, we are committed to sustaining a culture of extensive training, support and development for our flexible multi-skilled teams.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, compliance-focused EHS Lead within our team on a permanent contract to manage and execute programmes that assist the plant in achieving corporate goals for EHS performance, while ensuring plant-wide compliance with EHS policies and applicable regulations.
A Taste of What You Will Be Doing (Tasks)
· Lead and own all EHS activities on-site, ensuring compliance with legislation, global standards, and internal policies.
· Drive risk assessments and ensure effective mitigation actions are implemented.
· Develop and continuously improve EHS management systems and lead internal audits.
· Champion a strong safety-first culture through coaching, mentoring, and engagement across the plant.
· Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.
· Support alignment of EHS priorities with operational objectives and global initiatives.
· Manage claims processes and contribute to governance, including legal and insurance coordination.
We’re Looking for Someone With (Skills & Experience)
· Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) with relevant EHS professional qualifications.
· NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (essential).
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
· A proactive mindset with a passion for driving safety culture and continuous improvement.
· Desirable: Experience working with corporate safety and environmental systems in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
