Scarthoe Bowling club is a small business in Grimsby. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to seek an experienced Bar person to serve all Members in the the club.
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Barperson to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality, bartending, and ensuring exceptional customer service. If you have experience in this industry and possess a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to food safety standards
Check unknown people for their membership identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently
- assist with monitoring inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
Housekeeping duties
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for money handling transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Willingness to assist on events / functions of the club when needed
