We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a range of breakfast dishes, including eggs, pancakes, cereals, and speciality items
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Assist in meal planning and portion control to maintain consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to management
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to create a safe working environment
- Contribute ideas for menu improvements and seasonal specials
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Previous experience in meal preparation, particularly breakfast items, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and culinary techniques
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Prior experience in serving guests or customers is advantageous but not essential
