About the role
Albert Street, our Complex needs project provides supported accommodation for 25 individuals over 18, who are homeless and with co-occurring mental health/ substance misuse issues. We are looking for someone to be part of our team that provides efficient and effective cleaning for the service.
Day to Day Duties:
- Vacuum-clean carpeted areas & sweep and wash non-carpeted floors
- Dust and polish furniture
- Clean windows, windowsills, glass doors
- Disinfect and dust toilet areas
- Deep clean of building monthly
- Clear litter and accumulated rubbish from internal and external areas
- Clean office areas
- Clean all communal areas
- Clean void rooms when customers move on.
- Knowledge of COSHH
- Replenish cleaning stock
Skills and Experience Needed
- Experience of relevant cleaning work
- Knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.
- Ability to prioritise workload
- To be flexible and have an understanding of our customers behaviours
