We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Contract Scheduler to coordinate and manage planned and reactive maintenance activities across our facilities services contracts. The successful candidate will work closely with operatives, sub-contractors, clients, and end users to ensure maintenance work is scheduled efficiently, completed on time, and compliant with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
- Allocate work orders to in house operatives and external contractors.
- Monitor work schedules and adjust priorities as operational needs change.
- Track job progress and ensure completion within agreed service levels.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and asset information within our software system
- Liaise with building occupants, contractors, and suppliers regarding maintenance activities.
- Produce reports and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, facilities management, construction trades, property maintenance or a similar coordination role.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills.
- Experience using maintenance management software packages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience within social housing maintenance contracts.
- Knowledge of construction, property maintenance and facilities industry practices.
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
