We are a small and friendly team looking for a housekeeper for our supported living properties within Torbay.
You will help maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for vulnerable adults.
This role combines high-standard cleaning with a compassionate, supportive approach
The ideal candidate will have a background within a social care environment and a calm and caring nature.
Responsibilities
Room Turnarounds & Deep Cleaning -
Deep clean resident rooms thoroughly after move-outs.
Sanitize all surfaces, fixtures, and flooring to a high standard.
Inspect empty rooms for maintenance issues or left-behind items and report to relevant line manager
Daily Communal Cleaning-
Clean shared spaces including kitchens, lounges, and hallways daily.
Requirements
- Non-judgmental attitude toward individuals facing complex life challenges.
- Resilient demeanor capable of working in a busy, dynamic environment
- Ability to work with attention to detail and maintain a high level of performance
- Client -oriented and friendly with clear confidentiality boundaries· Prioritisation and time management skills.
- Confidentiality when handling sensitive data
- Experience essential of carrying out domestic duties e.g. cleaning, changing bedding, stock management and preparing the accommodation ready for re-let.
Part time hours available
Monday - Friday
- Hours to be negotiated with great opportunities for training and promotion.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.75-£13.75 per hour
