Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality home care services tailored to each client’s individual care plans, including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily routines
- Support clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as outlined in their care plans
- Provide transportation for appointments, errands, or social activities, utilizing your driving skills safely and responsibly
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care delivery
- Keep accurate records of care provided, updates on client conditions, and any incidents or concerns using IT systems designed for care documentation
- Promote independence by encouraging clients to participate in activities suited to their abilities while respecting their preferences
- Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning or meal preparation to support overall well-being
Qualifications
- Valid driving license and reliable vehicle for home visits and transportation duties
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to understand care plans and document interactions accurately
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
- Basic IT literacy for maintaining electronic records and updating care documentation
- Knowledge of care plans, health & safety protocols, and safeguarding procedures is advantageous
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals in their daily lives
Hours
You will be required to work 5 evenings per week on a rota basis inlclusive of alternate weekends. Hours are 4pm to 11pm.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
