Location: Blandford Forum (Commutable from Poole, Wimborne Minster, Shaftesbury, Sturminster Newton, Bournemouth)
Salary: Up to £60,000 Solid Basic Salary (Dependent on diagnostic expertise)
Shift Pattern: 4-Day Compressed Week (Mon–Thu or Tue–Fri) OR Standard 5-Day Mon–Fri – No Weekends!

We are hiring a skilled Diagnostic Technician / Electrical Specialist to serve as a technical authority at our premier independent facility in Blandford Forum. We provide dealer-level diagnostics across major prestige brands (Audi, VW, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover) and give you the time, top-tier tools, and total diagnostic autonomy needed to trace complex faults properly.

- Leading advanced fault-finding and complex electrical/mechanical diagnostics across prestige and modern vehicles

Interpreting CAN bus faults, live sensor/actuator data, oscilloscope readings, and complex wiring schematics

Resolving tricky module communication errors, intermittent faults, and engine management issues from diagnosis to final fix

Serving as the shop floor's technical authority on complex diagnostic cases
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on workshop experience as a Diagnostic Lead or Electrical Specialist

Skills: Proven mastery using advanced scan tools, scope technology, and a methodical problem-solving mindset

Qualifications: Relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent master-level diagnostic experience

Licence: Valid full UK Driving Licence
