Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Timber Gate & Fence Panel Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality timber gates and fence panels, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in carpentry, joinery, or construction-related trades to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will be involved in all stages of production, from cutting and assembly to finishing touches, adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate timber components for gates and fence panels according to specified designs and measurements
- Assemble various timber parts using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
- Operate a range of equipment including saws, drills, and other carpentry tools safely and efficiently
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials and finished products as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and craftsmanship
- Good organisational skills
- Prior experience working within construction or manufacturing environments preferred
