About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a full time, night shift, Medical laboratory Assistant (MLA) to join our Infection Sciences team at the new Hertfordshire and West Essex HWE Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to join our new purpose built 24/7 Infection Sciences Laboratory based at Watford Croxley Park Hub .
The successful candidate will join our team of laboratory staff and biomedical Scientists in delivering a high-quality pathology service. We are looking for someone who is flexible , positive, proactive and has attention to details. Previous experience would be helpful, however full training will be provided.The role will involve processing samples and performing routine preparation and tests, including basic analytical processes, accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a qualified BMS staff, bringing any unusual test requests or results to the attention of the appropriate member of staff.
