We’re looking for a locum vet to join our team at our independent, family-run veterinary travel clinic in New Malden (South West London).
Our clinic is uniquely focused on pet travel documentation only (Animal Health Certificates, Export Health Certificates, Fit to Fly Certificates) – we do not provide general veterinary or clinical services. This makes for a quieter, lower-stress, more structured workday, with excellent support and no emergencies.
The Role
- Completing and issuing Animal Health Certificates for pets (mainly dogs and cats travelling to Europe).
- Occasionally handling Export Health Certificates for other destinations.
- Advising pet owners on travel regulations (all client prep and admin is handled by our support team).
- Reviewing and verifying pet travel documentation.
- This is an in-person role based at our South West London PassPets branch (New Malden).
- Shifts are typically 9am–7pm. We can offer shifts throughout much of the year, with the greatest availability during our busier periods in December and from May to September.

This is an ideal opportunity for:
- Vets looking to supplement their income on days off.
- Vets wanting a gentler pace after years in clinical practice.
- Vets seeking flexible work with healthy pets and happy pet owners, with zero OOH.
Requirements
- RCVS Registered
- Background in clinical practice.
- Meticulous attention to detail.

- Reliable: we are a small team working within limited timeframes for pet exports, so reliability is an essential part of the role
- Preferred but not essential: Official Veterinarian (Companion Animals) qualification, although we are happy to help vets gain this qualification.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate.
- Relaxed, supportive environment without clinical or emergency pressures.
- Thorough onboarding and training from our experienced OVs.
- Administrative support from our lovely team.
