Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-time Personal Assistant/Carer to provide dedicated support to an individual in DL16 6AL. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a caring nature who is organised and able to assist with daily activities, ensuring the individual’s wellbeing and independence. Calls available 8.15-10.15 am ,21.30-22.15pm seven days a week along with 17.00-18.00 pm Mon-Fri
Duties
- Assisting with personal care routines, including dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Supporting with daily excercise routine, light household tasks
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Driving the individual to appointments, social outings, or errands as required
- Maintaining clear communication with the individual and their family regarding care needs and progress
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment at all times, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Skills
- Valid driving licence and experience driving safely in various conditions
- Previous experience working in providing home care assistance
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and predominantly with other carer working two person calls, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
