Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to serve as the to Head Teacher. This vital role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of educational leadership. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. You will play a key role in managing schedules, handling correspondence, and supporting daily school activities to foster an engaging and efficient learning environment.
Duties
- Assist the Head Teacher with daily planning, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments to maximize productivity
- Manage correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and written communications, demonstrating professional phone etiquette at all times
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and clerical tasks using tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support school initiatives and administrative needs
- Organize school events, meetings, and activities by coordinating logistics and communicating with staff, students, and parents
- Oversee office operations by managing supplies inventory, processing invoices, and ensuring efficient workflow
- Support the administration team with general office experience tasks such as filing, photocopying, and document management
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications for seamless communication and documentation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with data entry and clerical work to maintain accurate records efficiently
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for basic financial management tasks is a plus
- Excellent typing skills for quick and accurate document preparation
- Demonstrated office experience with a focus on administrative support roles
- Exceptional phone etiquette skills to professionally handle inquiries and communicate clearly with stakeholders
- Must have exeperience of Independant school standards
