We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Thermoplastic Highways Patching Operative to join our growing team. CIS scheme only
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out thermoplastic patching repairs on roads, footways and highways.
- Operate thermoplastic boilers, hand tools and specialist application equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare surfaces to ensure high-quality, long-lasting repairs.
- Assist with traffic management set-up and removal where required.
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including wearing the correct PPE.
- Work as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Experience in thermoplastic road marking or highway maintenance is preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate.
- CSCS card desirable.
- Street Works (NRSWA) qualification desirable.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good timekeeping, a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends and overtime when required.
