Shield Security is seeking professional and proactive Day Security Officers to join our team at South Cliff Caravan Park, Bridlington.
This role is focused on maintaining a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for all park residents, guests, and visitors. You will work closely with site management by monitoring site activities, reporting breaches of park rules, and ensuring security and safety standards are maintained.
The successful candidate must be confident, observant, approachable, and able to deal with difficult situations professionally and calmly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional security presence throughout South Cliff Caravan Park.
- Conduct regular foot patrols across the site.
- Control access to site premises and challenge unauthorised persons where appropriate.
- Monitor and report all breaches of security, safety concerns, and incidents.
- Observe and report the use of e-scooters and other prohibited vehicles, which are not permitted on site.
- Monitor dog walking activities and report instances where dogs are not being kept on leads in accordance with park rules.
- Identify and report disruptive, anti-social, or nuisance behaviour by residents, guests, or visitors.
- Provide detailed reports to site management, enabling them to speak with the relevant parties, issue warnings where necessary, and take further action, including possible removal from the site.
- Assist with incident investigations when required.
- Complete accurate reports, statements, and security records.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and customer concerns.
- Maintain high standards of customer service while enforcing site rules and regulations.
Essential Requirements
Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
Full UK Driving Licence
Own Transport
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends
