Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full Time Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent hospitality skills, a passion for creating memorable guest experiences, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within our establishment. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring efficient service while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and recipes
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, managing multiple tables or bar stations as required
- Ensure all drinks are presented attractively and served promptly to maintain guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and comply with licensing laws
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations diligently at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment, particularly within a bar or restaurant setting, is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to beverage service is desirable
- Proven ability to serve guests efficiently while maintaining high standards of professionalism
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Competence in basic maths for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers is advantageous
