Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to service, diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles. You will work in a supportive workshop with suitable equipment and varied repair work. This role offers stable hours, competitive pay and opportunities to develop your technical skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Service and repair diesel vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Repair brakes, engines and suspension systems
- Complete inspections and routine maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to identify problems
- Record completed work and required parts
- Keep the workshop safe and organised
Requirements:
- Vehicle maintenance or mechanical repair experience
- Knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems
- Ability to diagnose and complete repairs safely
- Relevant automotive qualification or equivalent experience
- Good teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence is helpful
- Commercial vehicle experience is useful but not essential
