Froth and Mallow is a specialty coffee and dessert bar located within easy reach of Wood Green, Turnpike Lane, Hornsey, and Alexandra Palace stations.
Key Requirements
- Location: Due to our shift patterns, this position is open to candidates living within a 30-minute commute of N8 0FR.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of recent barista experience is preferred. You should be able to consistently produce the correct milk texture for all hot drinks and possess a sound knowledge of espresso-based beverages. We are also open to candidates who demonstrate a strong passion for coffee and a desire to learn.
- Morning Shift: The schedule is approximately Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This shift requires working independently to manage the morning setup, arrange the cake and pastry display, and handle food preparation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serving customers efficiently with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages and food according to company standards.
- Maintaining clear communication regarding shifts and coverage.
- Ensuring food safety, health and safety guidelines, and cleanliness standards are met at all times.
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Assisting with food preparation and restocking supplies.
- Managing time effectively during busy periods, including supporting our upcoming delivery app launch in September.
The hourly rate for this position will be determined based on your experience and will align with UK government guidelines regarding age-related pay.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
