Amazon Leisure is growing, and we are now looking to recruit dependable and practical Gym Equipment Installers to join our expanding installation team.
This is a hands-on, mobile role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving and working closely with others to complete installations to a high standard.
The Role
As a Gym Equipment Installer, you will travel to customer sites across the UK to install, assemble and set up a variety of gym equipment. You will ensure equipment is correctly built, tested and ready for customer use, while maintaining a professional and helpful approach on site.
Main Duties
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing gym equipment in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer guidance
- Assembling, commissioning and testing equipment to ensure it is fully operational
- Working effectively with colleagues while on customer sites
- Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers
- Identifying and helping to resolve any installation issues
- Providing a high level of customer service throughout each job
- Looking after company tools, equipment and vehicles
- Following all health and safety requirements at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience using mechanical and hand tools, which is essential
- A practical, can-do approach to work
- Strong attention to detail
- A reliable, flexible and professional attitude
- A full UK driving licence, with van driving experience being desirable
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays when required
- Flexibility for early starts depending on site location and project needs
- Good written and verbal English for health and safety purposes
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and heavy lifting
Working Hours
This role is based on a 52.5-hour working week, usually worked over five days.
Start and finish times may vary depending on travel, site location and project requirements.
