As a Graduate Applications Engineer, you'll join a team of experienced engineers supporting the deployment and operation of advanced electronics systems across world-class motorsport, automotive and marine programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical expertise, gain hands-on experience and work directly with some of the world's leading race teams and vehicle manufacturers.
Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, you'll support trackside and remote engineering activities for major OEM customers and race series, including WEC, WRC, IndyCar, GT3, Superformula, F50 Sail Boats and other high-performance applications.
You'll support customers in maximising the performance and capability of Cosworth Electronics products and systems, both trackside and within their engineering environments.
Key responsibilities include:
Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, user guides, application notes and training material for customers and internal teams.
Support customer programmes throughout the full project lifecycle, from requirements capture and system configuration through to validation, deployment and ongoing support.
Capture customer feedback and application insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements and future development.
Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to investigate, reproduce and resolve customer-reported issues, contributing to continuous product improvement.
Support the development and presentation of technical solutions for new customer opportunities alongside commercial and engineering teams.
Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders while developing your understanding of advanced electronics systems and vehicle applications.
Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, environmental, energy management and data protection requirements, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

We're looking for a motivated graduate engineer with a strong interest in motorsport, automotive electronics and high-performance vehicle systems, who is eager to develop a career in customer-facing engineering.
You'll ideally have:
A degree in Electronic, Electrical, Automotive, Motorsport, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
An understanding of electronics, embedded systems, CAN communication, data acquisition and vehicle telemetry gained through academic study or practical experience.
A keen interest in supporting trackside and remote engineering activities while working directly with customers to optimise system performance and resolve technical challenges.
An appreciation of the commercial and manufacturing considerations that influence engineering decisions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues, identify root causes and work collaboratively to deliver effective solutions.
The ability to produce clear technical documentation, reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning new technologies, software tools and electronics systems within a fast-paced engineering environment.
