Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Floor and Bar Staff to join our team. As a key member of our pub, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, as well as the ability to engage with customers effectively. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Upsell menu items and special promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when required.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is essential.
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated when required.
