About the pub
Located close to Ebbsfleet International Station and the A2, The Spring River combines a thriving, family-friendly pub and carvery operation with a substantial 104-bedroom hotel, creating a dynamic and diverse hospitality business with enormous potential.
Currently delivering around £95,000 in weekly sales, with a sales mix of 60% food and 30% drink, alongside over £22,000 weekly accommodation revenue, this is a role for a commercially astute operator who thrives in high-volume environments and understands how to balance exceptional guest experiences with strong financial performance. The Spring River already benefits from strong trade across food, drink and accommodation, but the opportunity ahead is even bigger. With a newly opened gym located next door, a growing local population, strong hotel occupancy and an already successful Sunday food offer.
This role demands an experienced hospitality leader with a proven track record managing both large-scale pub operations and hotel businesses. You'll be passionate about delivering exceptional standards throughout every part of the customer journey, from spotless bedrooms and seamless guest check-ins to outstanding food quality and memorable service in the pub.

Brimming with energy and ideas, you’ll add touches of your personality to your pub and think of new ways to delight and excite your customers. You’ll thrive off growing your business and have a ‘lead from the front’ mentality and passion for nurturing your team.
As a General Manager you’ll:
- Care about finding, growing and engaging your team.
- Be accountable for running all aspects of your pub.
- Be passionate about doing the right thing for your staff and your customers.
- Dream big and think differently about new ways to increase sales and growth.
