Essex Tube Windings Ltd is a well-established UK manufacturer of cardboard tubes and packaging products. We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded salesperson to launch and develop two innovative packaging products with significant potential in the UK market.
Our first product is a cardboard end plug for postal tubes that is commercially viable, fit for purpose and competitively priced for the mass postal-tube market. We are currently the only UK supplier able to offer a cardboard plug that provides a practical alternative to conventional plastic plugs without making postal-tube packaging commercially uncompetitive.
It enables packaging manufacturers, distributors and users to reduce their reliance on plastic while maintaining the performance and affordability they require.
Our second product is a square cardboard postal tube designed to help customers avoid the additional handling charges that some carriers apply to round tubes. It also offers practical storage, stacking and branding advantages.
Together, these products provide credible solutions to two established packaging problems: reducing unnecessary plastic and helping customers overcome the disadvantages associated with conventional round postal tubes.
The successful applicant will introduce these UK-exclusive products to existing customers, packaging distributors and entirely new markets, helping us establish a major new product category.
