We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Healthcare to join team at HMP Long Lartin, A men's prison, located in the village of South Littleton in the Wychavon district in Worcestershire.

The site currently offers Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary of £48000 to £52000 per annum.

As a Deputy Head of Healthcare your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Will deputise for the Head of Healthcare in all aspects of their role.
- Hold a clinical qualifcation (NMC, HCPC) and provide clinical leadership to the healthcare department
- Provide day to day operational service delivery and data which has integrity, in a timely manner to meet commissioner expectations.
- Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement embedding a culture of shared learning.
- Deliver non-judgemental, compassionate care within the financial framework that is safe, high quality and in line with CQC requirements.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Clinical qualification and valid registration
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of working in CQC or equivalent registered services such as HMIP
- Experience of client management or meeting commissioner expectations
- Experience developing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of clinical governance
