Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Multi Skills Tutor to deliver comprehensive training across various disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging lessons in areas such as plumbing, IT, and general teaching, ensuring learners develop practical skills and confidence. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across multiple skill areas, including plumbing, IT, and general teaching modules
- Develop customised training programmes tailored to individual learner needs and organisational goals
- Assess learners’ progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement levels
- Organise practical sessions that promote hands-on learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with learners to motivate and support their development
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum content and teaching methods
- Ensure all training activities comply with health and safety regulations and organisational policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching or training within relevant fields such as plumbing or IT
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learner groups
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple training sessions efficiently
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Knowledge of IT systems and basic troubleshooting skills are desirable
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- A recognised qualification in teaching or training is preferred but not essential if complemented by relevant experience
