Overview
We are seeking reliable and motivated General Labourers to assist with an upcoming event. This role involves supporting various logistical and setup tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the event. The position is ideal for individuals looking to gain practical experience in event support and physical labour, with a focus on teamwork and efficiency. Candidates should be prepared to work outdoors and in dynamic environments, demonstrating a proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
Duties
- Moving and lifting heavy items such as tables, chairs, and other event materials
- Supporting the transportation of supplies and equipment across the venue
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the event area before, during, and after the event
- Assisting staff with any additional tasks required to facilitate smooth event operations
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times during physical tasks
Experience
- Previous experience in general labour or event support roles is desirable but not essential
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- No formal qualifications are required; however, a proactive approach and reliability are essential
- Young candidates are preferred - due to the nature of the job
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
