Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Computer Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Diagnose hardware malfunctions and perform repairs on computers, peripherals, and networking equipment using appropriate tools and techniques
- Conduct routine maintenance on computer systems to prevent future issues and extend equipment lifespan
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware components in accordance with technical schematics and specifications
- Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of computer networks, including wired and wireless connections
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, or replace faulty parts in equipment
- Document repair procedures, system configurations, and maintenance activities accurately for record-keeping
- Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and develop solutions to improve system reliability
Requirements
- Proven experience with computer hardware repair and maintenance processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools for equipment repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts including routers, switches, and network protocols
- Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for hardware failures and connectivity issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing complex technical problems
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to team members or clients
