Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Mini Bus Driver to safely transport passengers within designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a good understanding of vehicle maintenance, and a professional attitude. Duties
- Safely operate the mini bus along scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing courteous and professional service
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 protocols where applicable
Requirements
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience operating mini buses or similar vehicles is highly desirable
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and passenger comfort
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if required
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage routes efficiently
- Physical ability to assist passengers if necessary and perform routine vehicle checks
- Must have PCV D1 and a valid CPC
This role is essential for providing dependable transportation services while ensuring passenger safety through professional driving practices.
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
