Overview:
TC Cleaning Lab is looking for meticulous, reliable cleaning professionals to join our network in London. We pride ourselves on delivering an excellence level of clean, ranging from high-standard commercial maintenance to intensive End of Tenancy deep cleans.
As a self-employed contractor with TC Cleaning Lab, you will enjoy the flexibility of managing your own schedule while providing elite service to a variety of clients, including offices, retail spaces, and residential properties. Key Responsibilities:
- Air bnb / House / End of Tenancy Deep Cleaning: Executing comprehensive cleans of kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas to meet strict inventory standards.
- Commercial Maintenance: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising offices, retail spaces, and communal residential blocks.
- Appliance & Surface Detailing: Deep cleaning ovens, hobs, and fridges; descaling taps/tiles; and degreasing extractor fans.
- Sanitisation & Waste Management: Deep cleaning high-touch areas (handles, switches) and restrooms; ensuring waste and recycling are correctly processed.
- Detail Work: Attending to often-missed areas such as skirting boards, light switches, and internal window tracks.
- Quality Control & Reporting: Taking "before and after" photos to document results and reporting any maintenance issues or low stock levels to site managers.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to management promptly.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in End of Tenancy, Deep Cleaning, or Commercial/Industrial cleaning.
- Proven experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Skills in specialised cleaning techniques such as carpet or window cleaning are advantageous.
- Self-Employed Status: Must be registered with HMRC, responsible for your own Tax/NI, and able to provide your UTR number.
- Reliability: Punctuality is essential, with the ability to travel to various locations across London for early morning, daytime, or evening shifts.
- Driving Licence: A valid UK Driving Licence is required. Access to your own vehicle is highly advantageous for transporting equipment between sites.
- Right to Work: Must have valid UK work authorisation.
- Equipment: Access to your own professional cleaning kit and vacuum is preferred (Although equipment can be provided).
- Communication: Basic English proficiency to follow health and safety instructions (COSHH) and clear checklists.
