We are seeking a motivated and energetic Forklift Driver/Labourer to join our night shift team. Duties
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying inbound and outbound shipments
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately
- Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance checks on forklifts and other tools
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to ergonomic practices
- Support warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weights, measurements, and inventory counts
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labour tasks
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred
