Job Title: Food and Beverage Server
Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Food and Beverage Server to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Canalside Cafe, Venue & Bar.

Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and presentation (Merrychef Menu)
- Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe and outside terrace
- Welcoming customers at the bar area and asking what they need
- Fulfilling customer hot and cold drink orders accurately and promptly
- Keeping the bar stocked by replacing empty bottles, cans, food items and changing kegs (training given)
- Cleaning the bar, cafe inside and outside terrace tables, washing glasses and wiping down surfaces.
- Taking cash or card payments from customers
- Verifying the age and checking the identification of potential customers
- Taking client orders and receiving payment
- Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
- Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures
- Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance
- The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays
- Contributing to a positive work environment
Requirements:
- Prior experience working within a bar, various function events or catering environment is essential
- Be prepared to help set-up tables and chairs for our ever growing function business
- Knowledge of food safety and licensing regulations but not essential as online training will be provided
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment including busy functions
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
