House of Girl Boss
Full-time | Predominantly on-site
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience
House of Girl Boss is entering its biggest stage of growth yet.We are a female-founded beauty and aesthetics education brand encompassing an academy, clinic, destination accommodation and an ambitious programme of launches, renovations and expansion. We have bold ideas and a powerful story—but we now need an exceptional creative leader who can turn those ideas into content and campaigns that people cannot ignore. This is not a junior social-media scheduling position, and it is not a role for someone who needs to be given every idea.We need someone who can walk into a room, spot the story, develop the campaign, direct the people, capture the footage, edit the content and get it published. You must be confident enough to take control of a room, structured enough to turn fast-moving ideas into an executable plan and ambitious enough to want to grow alongside the company. You will work directly with our founders, Louise and Kirsty, while guiding and developing our existing Marketing Assistant.
What you will own
- Develop and execute the content and brand strategy for House of Girl Boss and its founders.
- Bring original, bold and commercially valuable campaign ideas to the business every week.
- Turn fast-moving founder ideas into organised campaigns with deadlines, responsibilities and measurable outcomes.
- Plan, script, film, direct and edit high-quality short-form video content.
- Capture professional photography and behind-the-scenes content across the academy, clinic, courses, events and renovations.

- Confidently direct founders, staff, tutors, students and models during filming.
- Manage the marketing calendar and set clear priorities for the Marketing Assistant.
- Introduce proper structure across content planning, filming, editing, approvals, file storage and publishing.
- Maintain a structured and searchable library of footage, photographs and brand assets.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered consistently across the appropriate platforms.
- Work alongside the sales and advertising teams to produce content that generates enquiries, bookings and revenue—not just views.
- Track reach, watch time, engagement, leads, enquiries and sales, providing a clear weekly performance update.
- Protect and develop the House of Girl Boss visual identity, voice and reputation.
- Coordinate external photographers, videographers, designers or freelancers when specialist support is needed.
What you must bring
- A strong portfolio demonstrating content you personally planned, filmed and edited.
- Proven experience developing social-media or brand campaigns from initial idea through to execution.
- Evidence of measurable results, including audience growth, reach, watch time, enquiries, leads, bookings or revenue.
- Excellent short-form video production and editing skills.
- Strong copywriting, storytelling and visual-branding ability.
- Commercial understanding—you must know the difference between content that looks nice and content that moves a business forward.
- The confidence to direct people, speak up, challenge weak ideas and make creative decisions.
- Exceptional organisation and the ability to create structure within a fast-moving founder-led business.
- The discipline to manage calendars, deadlines, approvals and multiple campaigns without constant chasing.
- The ability to lead and develop a junior team member.
- The ambition to grow with the company and help build a larger creative and marketing department.
- Availability to work predominantly on-site and capture content as the business develops.
You do not have to be the loudest person in the room, but you must be confident, creatively brave and comfortable taking ownership. We move quickly, think big and regularly have ideas that need turning into action. The right person will not feel overwhelmed by that energy—they will bring the structure required to make it happen.
