About the Role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will learn all aspects of the recruitment process while building strong relationships with candidates and clients. This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where hard work and determination are recognised and rewarded. No previous recruitment experience is required—we provide training, ongoing support, and a structured career path to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
- Screen CVs and conduct initial candidate interviews
- Match candidates to suitable job opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates and clients
- Arrange interviews and manage the recruitment process from start to finish
- Develop business opportunities through networking and client outreach
- Maintain accurate records using the company CRM and recruitment systems
- Work towards individual and team performance targets
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, resilient, and motivated attitude
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Confidence in speaking with people over the phone and in person
- A target-driven mindset with a desire to succeed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous sales or customer service would be advantageous but not essential
