Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas thoroughly and efficiently.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any malfunctions promptly.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals responsibly to protect yourself and others.
- Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks over extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to chemical handling and sanitation practices.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
