Riley Personnel is working in partnership with a number of highly regarded primary and secondary schools across Hounslow that are looking to appoint enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term positions starting in September.
These opportunities are ideal for graduates who want to gain practical school-based experience before progressing into teacher training or pursuing a career in education. You'll work alongside experienced teachers, support pupils in their learning, and develop the confidence and skills needed to thrive in the classroom.

The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning within the classroom.
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions to help pupils make excellent progress.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude to learning.
- Support pupils with varying learning needs, including pupils with SEN where required.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1, KS2, and secondary education, depending on your experience and preferences.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for graduates who:
- Hold a degree in any subject (a 2:2 or above is desirable).
- Have previous experience working with children or young people through schools, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, childcare, youth work, volunteering, or similar settings.
- Have a genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Hold GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above or equivalent).
- Have an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
