Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Afro Hair Stylist with extensive experience working with Afro-textured hair. The ideal candidate will be confident in cornrowing, weaving, wig making, wig installations, and general hair styling.
This is a hands-on salon role for an experienced stylist who can work independently, provide high-quality services, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Neat Cornrow braid down
Carry out professional weave installations, including sew-ins and other techniques
Customise and install closure, frontal and U-part wigs
Style natural and relaxed Afro hair
Prepare hair for protective styles and installations
Consult with clients and recommend suitable styles and treatments
Maintain a clean, professional and organised workstation
Provide excellent customer service and maintain high salon standards
Requirements
Extensive professional experience working with Afro-textured hair
Proven experience as a hairstylist, preferably in a busy salon environment
Strong skills in cornrowing, weaving, wig making and wig installation
Specialist experience with weave installations
Previous salon experience is essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional, reliable and client-focused
Salon references are required
