Self-Employed Carpenter / Joiner
We are looking for experienced, reliable self-employed carpenters/joiners to help us with an increasing workload across Chester and the surrounding areas.
We are a small carpentry and joinery company carrying out a mixture of new-build, renovation and domestic work. We are looking to build a relationship with good local carpenters who can work alongside us on an ongoing subcontract basis as required.
Work will include:
- 1st fix carpentry
- 2nd fix carpentry
- Roofs and roof structures
- Floor joists and flooring
- Studwork
- Doors, skirting and architraves
- Kitchens
- General carpentry and joinery
Applicants should be experienced, reliable and able to work to a good standard without constant supervision.
Requirements:
- Own tools
- Own transport
- Relevant carpentry/joinery experience
- CSCS card preferred/required for site work
- Public liability insurance preferred
- UTR and ability to work as a self-employed subcontractor
- Good timekeeping and a professional attitude
Pay: £200–£250 per day depending on experience and ability.
Price work may also be available on certain projects.
There is potential for regular ongoing work for the right person, but this is a self-employed subcontract position rather than a permanent employed role.
