Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the café kitchen team, providing clear direction and support to ensure smooth daily operations & work between sites when required in Bridgend, porthcawl, and Cardiff locations
- Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality menu items, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring all dishes meet established quality standards and customer expectations.
- Manage food safety protocols diligently, including proper storage, handling, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow, assign tasks effectively, and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies as needed, and minimize waste through efficient kitchen practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen workspace that adheres to safety standards at all times.Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary or hospitality setting.
- Extensive food preparation and cooking skills within a restaurant or café environment.
- Strong team management abilities with a focus on leadership and motivating staff.
- Solid kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Background in food production, culinary arts or related fields is highly desirable.
- Experience in serving customers directly or managing service operations is advantageous.
