The money
Typical invoicing of £750 to £1,300 a week for a full week, paid on a weekly. Higher for Gas Safe engineers and qualified electricians.
The work
A daily run of repairs across private homes, offices and managed flats. Leaks and taps, toilet and shower repairs, saniflos, light fittings, sockets and extractor fans, doors and locks, sash windows, tiling, sealing and small decorating jobs. We expect the fault diagnosed properly and the job finished in one visit wherever possible.
What you need
Three years or more on your own tools as a multi-trade handyman, general builder or maintenance engineer, working in occupied properties. Your own tools and transport, ideally a scooter or motorcycle for this patch. Living in or near the W, NW, HA or TW postcodes. Self-employed with a UTR, or ready to register. Right to work in the UK. Good spoken English and a courteous manner in customers' homes. A smartphone.
