What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Technical Operations Director and working with the CISO, you'll be involved in
Working with global vendors, internal technology, business, and project teams to deliver our global Security Hardening program.
You'll manage a portfolio of projects within a larger technical programme designed to enhance the Security Posture of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution: Plan technical projects, manage timelines, and work with Engineering and technology teams to define use cases and acceptance criteria. Facilitate agile planning sessions with technical teams to ensure deliverables are agreed upon, acceptance criteria are accurately documented, and priorities are clear.
Schedule in work with third party vendors and internal teams.
Communicate schedules to stakeholders
System Delivery and Change Management: Ensure new systems are delivered with appropriate documentation and change management practices. Manage project delivery within agreed time, scope, and cost parameters.
Engineering team and Stakeholder Engagement: Analyse business processes, manage end-user and stakeholder expectations, and engage in change management activities
End-to-End Project Management: Lead and execute Security initiatives for cloud and on-premises environments, managing project scope, resources, budgets, and timelines to deliver successful outcomes

As-Is and To-Be Documentation: Conduct comprehensive analysis of current ('as-is') processes and define future ('to-be') states, creating clear, detailed documentation to support informed decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Engineering, product, Security and IT teams to ensure alignment on objectives, roles, and responsibilities.
Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones, using project management tools to track progress and address any risks or issues.
Change Impact Assessment: Analyse the impact of proposed changes on existing sales processes, workflows, and team dynamics, and recommend strategies to minimise disruption.
Communication: Develop and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
Risk Management and Mitigation: Identify project risks and potential challenges proactively, creating mitigation plans and keeping stakeholders updated on project status and roadblocks.
Who we're looking for

Experience leading large-scale global security programmes.
Experience working with security vendors and the ability to discuss technical security aspects of the project confidently.
3-5 years of experience in technical project management or product management roles.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What your impact and success looks like
As a Technical Project Manager, we expect your success and impact in the early stages of your career with us to look something like this:
Within 1 month:
Gain familiarity with the organisation's systems, infrastructure, software platforms, and integration tools.
Gain a thorough understanding of ongoing projects, including objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocations.
Review project documentation, including scope statements, work breakdown structures, and project plans.
Engage with vendors and internal teams begin scheduling time for Security review and remediation work
Coordinate with team members to assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor progress.
Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, dependencies, and resource requirements
Within 3 months:
Deliver on some quick wins.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Conduct a comprehensive risk assessment for ongoing projects, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Establish regular communication channels with stakeholders, including status updates, progress reports, and issue resolutions.
Facilitate project meetings, ensuring productive discussions and decision-making.
Ensure project is on target to meet completion deadline
Within 6 months:
Deliver key programme milestones, showing attention to detail and adherence to scope, cost and time parameters.
Reviewed project processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement.
Implemented best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Fostered a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the project team.
Solicited feedback from internal clients on project performance and satisfaction levels.
Addressed any concerns or issues raised by internal clients and stakeholders and take proactive measures to enhance client satisfaction.
