Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Assistant Dance teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a background in various dance styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages. We are an IDTA school so experience with this syllabus is preferred but not essential!
Duties
- Assist with the teaching of various dance styles.
- Provide encouragement to students to enhance their performance.
- Maintain a positive and safe learning environment that promotes creativity and self-expression.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in one or more dance styles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching dance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in dance instruction are an advantage but not mandatory.
- A passion for fostering a love of dance among students of all ages.
