Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service from the moment they arrive
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using our practice management software
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently
- Answer phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members or departments
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of optical supplies
- Support the clinical team by preparing patient charts and updating electronic health records as needed
Qualifications
- Prior Optical Assistant/Receptionist experience required.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic computer applications; experience with practice management software is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining independence in daily tasks
