About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance & Reach Truck Drivers to join a busy warehouse operation based in Swindon.
The successful candidates must hold valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences/certificates and have previous experience operating both types of FLT.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking candidates looking for stable, long-term work, consistent Monday-to-Friday hours and no weekend shifts.
There are two shift patterns available, giving candidates some flexibility around their preferred working hours.
Working HoursShift 1
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00
- Friday: 07:30 – 15:00
Shift 2
- Monday to Thursday: 09:30 – 18:00
- Friday: 09:30 – 17:00
- One-hour early finish on Friday
Monday to Friday only – no weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operating Counterbalance and Reach Trucks
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
- Picking and palletising goods when required
- Supporting general warehouse duties
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Following all company health and safety procedures
- Working efficiently as part of a busy warehouse team
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate
- Valid Reach Truck FLT licence/certificate
- Previous experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach Trucks
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
