Part-Time Cook / Chef (2 Days / Week)
Location: Grayshott (GU26) — Easy commute from Farnham, Bordon, Liphook, and Haslemere
Pay Rate: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: Daytime shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (approx. 16 hours per week)

About the Rota & Flexibility
We are looking for a practical, reliable Chef to work collaboratively alongside our full-time Chef.
This role is structured on a flexible 2-day-per-week rolling rota designed to share kitchen responsibilities smoothly:
- Flexible Schedule: You will work a combination of weekdays and weekend shifts. Shift patterns and working days are planned in advance directly between you and the full-time Chef, offering mutual flexibility for both of your schedules.
- Overtime Available: Occasional opportunities for extra shifts to cover planned leave, holidays, or sickness.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve wholesome, home-style meals for our residents.
- Accommodate individual dietary requirements (e.g., modified textures/pureed diets, food allergies, and diabetic options).
- Maintain strict kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and log daily storage/cooking temperatures.
- Keep the kitchen workspace clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Previous cooking experience in a care home, school, pub, or commercial catering environment.
- Qualifications: Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene in Catering (or willingness to complete prior to your start date).
- Status: Must have the permanent Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role).
