Join a well-established family business with a strong local reputation in domestic appliance repairs and sales. We’re seeking a proactive engineer who can work independently and as part of a small team.
The Role
- Attend and manage service calls covering the local area across County Durham, Bishop Auckland, Darlington and surrounding areas
- Diagnose faults on a variety of domestic appliances and models and provide accurate pricing
- Carry out repairs safely and efficiently
- Ability to safely lift and manoeuvre heavy domestic appliances as part of installation and repair work
- Deliver excellent customer service in all settings
Requirements
- Experience in domestic appliance repair is desirable, but candidates with a strong interest in the industry and a willingness to learn will also be considered for a trainee role
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to repair a range of domestic appliances
- Good organisation and ability to manage service calls effectively
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Full UK driving licence with a good driving record preferred or working towards driving requirement may be considered
